Privacy Policy — PronovaTech Software

This privacy policy describes how Pro Nova Technologies Inc. ("PronovaTech", "Pro Nova", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our software portal at software.pronovatech.com and our PNT Invoice software.

Information We Collect

Account information — name, email, and password (hashed) when you register.
Payment details — processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your card numbers.
License + device information — when our licensed software calls our validation API, we record the machine identifier and, if the software sends them, the machine name and operating system, to enforce per-device licensing.
Usage logs — IP address and timestamps of administrative actions for security auditing.

Bank and Credit Card Data (PNT Invoice Bank Link)

PNT Invoice can import transactions from your business bank and credit card accounts. This is optional and only happens if you choose to link an account.

How the link works — Accounts are linked through Stripe Financial Connections. You sign in to your bank through Stripe or your bank's own page. We never see or store your bank username or password.
What we receive — Read-only transaction details (date, amount, description, and a transaction identifier), plus each account's type and last four digits. We do not receive full account or routing numbers, and we cannot move money.
How it is used — Only to import your transactions into your own books in PNT Invoice, so you can match them to your invoices, payments and bills, and reconcile your accounts.
Where it is kept — Your PNT Invoice retrieves the data from Stripe and stores it in your PNT Invoice database, on your own computer or server in the United States. Stripe also keeps the linked-account details and transactions for this connection in the Stripe account Pro Nova Technologies uses for this service. Pro Nova uses that data only to deliver it to your PNT Invoice, and looks at it only when you ask us for support or when the law requires it.
Sharing — We do not sell this data or share it with anyone else, except Stripe, which provides the connection, or when the law requires it. Stripe also processes this data under its own Privacy Policy and terms.
Disconnecting — You can disconnect a linked account at any time in PNT Invoice or through Stripe. Disconnecting stops new imports. Transactions already imported stay in your books as accounting records; disconnecting does not delete them.

To deliver, validate, and renew your software licenses
To send you service notifications (order confirmations, license keys, billing notices)
To detect and prevent fraud and abuse
To comply with our legal obligations

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Stripe — to process payments and, if you link a bank or credit card account in PNT Invoice, to provide that connection. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Service providers who help us operate the portal (hosting, email delivery), under confidentiality obligations.
Authorities, when required by law.

Data Retention

We keep account and license data for as long as your account is active. Audit logs are retained for up to two years. Outbound email logs are retained for up to 90 days. Bank link consent records (who linked which accounts, when, and with what permission) are kept for at least 24 months after the link ends. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@pronovatech.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS, encrypted secret storage, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on this page.
